Delete your Clamp account

Clamp is made by Contractor School. Questions: [email protected].

In the app

1. Open Clamp and go to Settings → Account → Delete my account.
2. We email a six-digit confirmation code to your account's email address.
3. Enter the code. Your account is deleted right away and the app signs you out.

If you no longer have the app

Email [email protected] from the email address on your Clamp account with the subject Delete my account. We reply within 1 to 2 business days to confirm it is you, then delete the account.

What is deleted

• Your Clamp sign-in. Your email address is removed from the account.
• Your cloud backups.
• Your project photos.
• Your saved AI estimate data.
• Your place on any team you belonged to.

What is kept

• Signed documents and their signature evidence, as the legal record of agreements between you and your customers, along with the customer and job each one belongs to.
• Documents your customers were already sent stay what they received.
• Subscription and purchase records held by Apple or Google and by our payment provider, under their own retention. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
• Crash reports, which are not linked to your account.

Data on your phone

Business data stored on your device stays on your device until you delete it in the app (Settings → Data & Backup) or uninstall Clamp.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

To remove only your saved AI estimate data, use Settings → AI & Data → Delete saved AI estimate data. For anything else, email [email protected] and tell us what you want removed.
