Unless a statement lists its own answers, rate it 1 to 5: 1 is never, 5 is always.

Clamp is one app for the whole job: tracking and qualifying leads, design agreements, estimates, proposals, change orders, and invoices, with overhead and job costs logged against the work. From first call to final invoice. Clamp does not score your business for you; it is where the habits behind a higher score get recorded.

How the assessment works

How is it scored?

Each statement is rated from 1 to 5. Each section is scored out of 25 and the total out of 125. A section scoring 5 to 12 is broken, 13 to 18 is inconsistent, and 19 to 25 is strong. Overall, 60 or below is at risk, 61 to 90 is surviving, 91 to 110 is solid, and above 110 is scalable.

What is the primary bottleneck?

Your lowest-scoring section. Most businesses do not have five problems at once; they have one system holding the others back. Fix that one first.

Does it collect my information?

No. There is no sign-up and no form to submit. Scoring runs in your browser and nothing you answer is sent anywhere.

Who is it for?

Remodelers, general contractors, and residential trade contractors who run the business as well as the work, from a solo operator to a small company with a crew and an office.
